Streets of New Orleans
Medium: Acrylics on Canvas with gold leaf
Size: 100 cm (w) x 100 cm (h) / 39 x 39 in
I was reading Capo, a book by Peter Watson. Suddenly, I was dreaming about river Mississippi and the feeling was flawlessly transpiring to my work. I used an old canvas which actually fit perfectly with the new idea. It now gives it a feel of cobblestones on which all those immigrants walked for the first time to chase their American dream. I haven’t been to New Orleans but this is how I imagine its streets to look like.
Available to purchase in instalments. Contact me for more information.
